Terminal Manager

 Duties and Responsibilities: Outstanding opportunity for a dynamic, rising logistics executive to join a new team of energetic and results driven executives in pursuit of excellence.   The Terminal Manager will have P&L responsibility for almost $1 Million in revenue per year.  Operations responsibilities include all aspects of tanker operations (truck tankers), OSHA compliance, DOT, loss prevention, and cost avoidance procedures.   The Houston facility is comprised of approximately 80 drivers (independent contractors as well as company owned equipment), 3 dispatchers and a small support staff.   Primary responsibilities will include continued development of people, develop and execute the Operations business plan, cost control in a 20% growth/yr market for the company and to interact with peers on steering the terminal toward continuous improvement.

The Successful Candidate will have:

n       2-3 yrs minimally as a Terminal Manager

n       Extremely strong P&L performance history

n       Success with metrics - a balanced scorecard a plus!

n      Change Agent mentality

n      Hazmat certification

n      Ability to maintain strong Customer relationships

n      Strong communication skills
