Other Mac Stuff

What else can you do with your Mac as far as connecting to our resources here in Industrial & Systems Engineering?  There are several things really.  Below are some links to programs that could help you connect to our resources:

• Texas A&M University VPN Client from Cisco (NetID and password required) - provides remote access through the campus firewall so that you can connect to our various internal resources.
• Texas A&M University WPA Campus Wireless Access - provides access to the campus network wirelessly.
• Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection for Mac - allows the user to connect from a Mac to a Windows-based computer and use the programs and files on that computer

And even more software that can be very helpful:

• Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac - contact Mark Henry to have this software installed at no cost on any departmentally owned Mac.
