Semester Team Projects The semester project will involve modeling of some practical problems, implementation of the simplex method in Matlab (optional - extra credit) and solving the problems using the implemented code as well as professional optimization software: CPLEX, LINDO, LINGO and the Excel Solver. Deliverables include a project report and a project presentation at the end of the semester. Download Project Assignment (Issue: March 10, Project Report Due: May 5). Project proposal (one page) due by March 31 -- Your proposal must include a project title, problem description, and why the problem is interesting and important to society today.
