Aggies love to make friends and get involved.  Opportunities abound with more than 680 recognized student organizations:  academic, recreational and sports clubs, hometown and international clubs, honor societies, social fraternities, service and religious groups.

Diversity is welcome in this world-class university where close to 50 international organizations promote friendship and understanding among the many cultures represented here.  Take a look at International Student Services.

Texas A&M has one of the best intramural and recreational sports programs in the country.  Football, softball, soccer and polo fields, and an on-campus golf course are available.

The Student Rec. Center features:

The Memorial Student Center and Reed Arena host more than 1,400 cultural,  educational, and entertainment events each year.  University organizations sponsor a wide range of speakers, popular entertainers, and performing artists.  Student theatrical and musical performances are frequent.

The Engineering Academic Programs Office creates and manages special programs for engineering students, and there are several Engineering Student Organizations to choose from.  The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering has active student chapters of Alpha Pi Mu, the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE),and INFORMS.

In addition to all the exciting and interesting activities and organizations available to Aggies, Texas A&M provides an extensive support system for students, to help them make the most of their college careers.
